CASTED has officially released the English edition of its National Innovation Index Report 2025. Since its launch in 2011, this flagship annual series has tracked the evolution of China’s innovation capacity.

The latest edition benchmarks 60 economies worldwide. It evaluates national innovation performance across five core dimensions—innovation resources, knowledge creation, enterprise innovation, innovation performance, and innovation governance—supported by 43 underlying indicators. The index adopts internationally recognized benchmarking methodologies to generate objective and credible global rankings.

To ensure robust international comparability, all data are drawn exclusively from official databases and authoritative publications of international organizations and national governments.
