On June 27th, 2025, CASTED and Administrative Center for China’s Agenda 21 jointly organized a session on China-U.S. technological cooperation, Dr. Deborah Seligsohn, a policy expert from Villanova University, Was invited to deliver a report . Over 30 researchers from CASTED, Administrative Center for China’s Agenda 21 and National Center for Science & Technology Evaluation attended the event.
Dr. Seligsohn's presentation focused on "U.S.-China Science and technology Relations and Climate Cooperation." She traced the historical evolution of U.S.-China Science & Technology cooperation, compared the science and technology policies of the two countries at different periods, and particularly analyzed the priorities and policies in climate cooperation between the U.S. and China. She recommended that the two countries should in climate change promote bilateral cooperation.During the lecture, participants engaged in interactive exchanges with Dr. Seligsohn, and discussed potential areas for U.S.-China science and technology cooperation,as well as cooperation methods and principles.
