On the afternoon of November 13, 2018, the Institute of Science, Technology and Society held a Roundtable Seminar on the Practice and Policy of Citizen Science. Experts from the Woodrow Wilson Center, the Public Lab and the Global Environmental Institute (GEI-China) introduced the practice of citizen science in China and the US in the form of a roundtable discussion. CASTED research fellows as well as research staff and students from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, China Media University and other institutions exchanged ideas with the keynote speakers on the policy issues related to the promotion of citizen science initiatives and plans.
