On August 31, 2018, the Institute of Science, Technology and Society invited Professor Liang Maoxin, Director of the Institute of American History of Northeast Normal University, to give a lecture titled US Strategy of Talent Attraction and History of Policy Evolution. Professor Liang introduced the historical evolution of talent attraction strategy in the US, such as the immigration policy system, strategic change of talent attraction, and talent attraction methods. After the meeting, Professor Liang and the participants had an in-depth discussion on the inspirations of the US talent attraction strategy on China’s talent introduction.
