In 2012, he joined the Ministry of Science and Technology. He has served as Deputy Inspector of the General Office, Deputy Director of the Department of Policy, Regulation and Supervision and Evaluation, and Deputy Director of the Department of Policy, Regulation and Innovation System Construction. Since January 2019, he has been Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Academy of Science and Technology Development Strategies.
