The 3rd CISTRAT International Seminar Held in Beijing

CISTRAT held its 3rd international seminar on October 19 in Beijing Yulong International Hotel. The seminar focused on Innovation and Transformation in Developing Economies under the Background of Globalization.




Six speakers from CISTRAT, UNESCO, Tsinghua University, University of Chinese Academy of Science, Autonomous University of Mexico and African Technology Policy Studies Network shared their views on China’s Innovation from the Perspective of Globalization, Transition into a Knowledge-Based Economy through the Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy (STISA) for Africa, Chinese S&T Priorities, Reflections from Mexico on Made in China, Reverse Knowledge Flow and Its Implication for Innovation in Developing Country, and Promoting a Culture of Innovation in the South.





The seminar was open to all trainers and trainees in this year’s STI policy training workshop, and staff members of CASTED.
