On June 20, Prof. Johan Schot at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), University of Sussex, paid a visit to CASTED. CASTED President Hu Zhijian and CASTED Vice President Wang Fenyu received him and held a seminar.

The two sides reviewed the cooperation between CASTED and RPRU, looked forward to their future cooperation, and agreed to strengthen cooperation and personnel exchange and give a greater scope to their role in policy research and advice.

Shao Xueqing of the Department of Research Management, Xuan Zhaohui of the Institute of Science and Technology Statistics and Analysis, He Guangxi of the Institute of Science, Technology and Society, Ding Minglei of the Institute of Comprehensive Development, Li Zhenxing of the Institute of Foresight and Evaluation, and Li Yan of the Institute of Science and Technology Systems and Management also attended the seminar.
