On July 29, 2016, a NESTA delegation led by Ms. Lou-Davina Stouffs, Research and Programme Manager, NESTA, paid a visit to CASTED and attended a seminar.

Shao Xueqing, Director of Department of Research Management at CASTED, received the delegation and chaired the seminar, where he briefed on CASTED’s development and its domestic and overseas cooperation platforms and main research areas. Institute of Foresight and Evaluation director Li Zhenxing, Institute of Science and Technology Statistics and Analysis director Ying Ying and Institute of Science, Technology and Society director Shi Changhui each introduced their institute’s research methods and achievements. Ms. Stouffs introduced the Innovation Growth Lab in NESTA’s Policy & Research unit. The two sides then had in-depth discussions on comparative research of innovation-driven growth, policy assessment, and future cooperation.
