On October 19, 2016, Warwick Dawson, Director of Research Strategy and Partnerships Office (RSPO), University of New South Wales (UNSW), paid a visit to CASTED for discussion of research management cooperation and exchange. Shao Xueqing, Director of Department of Research Management at CASTED, received Warwick Dawson and chaired a meeting which was also attended by relevant personnel of the Department of Research Management.

Shao Xueqing introduced CASTED’s history and current status. Dawson introduced the International Network of Research Management Societies (INORMS) launched by the Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) and expressed an intent for exchange and cooperation with CASTED on research management. The two sides then had in-depth discussions on the subject.
