On the morning of October 24, Adrian Ely, Senior Lecturer in Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), and expert of Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium (TIPC), at University of Sussex, paid a visit to CASTED for discussion of cooperation. CASTED Vice President Wang Fenyu received Adrian Ely and chaired a meeting which was also attended by relevant personnel of the Department of Research Management.

The meeting was the first meeting convened after the two sides signed a letter of intent for cooperation in the UK on September 6, where the two sides reached consensus on a series of subjects and discussed subsequent work arrangements.
