On the morning of August 18, 2015, a delegation led by Yoon Daisang, Chief Representative of Korea-China Science & Technology Cooperation Center (KSTEC), paid a visit to CASTED, and was received by CASTED Vice President Wang Fenyu, Shao Xueqing, Director of the Department of Research Management, and other relevant colleagues at CASTED.

The two sides had a meeting on further deepening cooperation in S&T policy. Against the backdrop of the new era of “mass entrepreneurship and innovation”, the Korean side expected to increase mutual knowledge and understanding of bilateral S&T policy trends and developments to lay a solid foundation for concrete S&T cooperation in areas of mutual interest. After the meeting, the two sides confirmed their intent of research collaboration and their commitment to following through on relevant research proposals and plans.
