On May 7, 2018, Hu Zhijian, President of CASTED, met with Sylvia Schwaag Serger, Vice President of Lund University in Sweden, Andreas Gothenberg, Head of the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education (STINT), and Micael Hagman, Science Innovation Counselor of the Swedish Embassy to China. The relevant personnel from the Institute of Science and Technology System and Management and the Department of Research Management attended the meeting.

The two sides introduced their priorities of academic disciplines and the research progress of the two countries in the development of national innovation system and science, technology and innovation policies, and discussed the focus of cooperation in the next stage.
