Abstract: The State Council adopted a plan to boost the development of seven strategic emerging industries. But currently, it is difficult to decide which seven industries should be prior developed. As a result, this paper suggests to put the industry of the next generation of information network, the new-energy industry, and the industry of biotechnology and new medicine in the first position. It also suggests to make appropriate competitive strategies and industrial policies to promote the development of China's strategic emerging industries.
