Abstract: Kuang-chi Institute of Advanced Technology in Shenzhen explored Innovation mode of "Pasteur's Quadrant" with Chinese characters. It is very important for China to guide basic research application, and cultivate the innovation source of strategic emerging industries. This paper suggests to strengthen the support of such emerging institutes.
