Abstract: Recently, people starts to pay more and more attention to the GMF(genetically modified food). As a new technology product, the arguing about its safety never stops at home and abroad.After investigation,we agreed that transgenic technology could not only help in resisting food crisis, decreasing environmental pollution,but also help in increasing peasants' income, and improving food structure. It also helps in moderating global climate change. This thesis suggests that only under the safety and free choices of consumers, China could develop GMF positively.
