Abstract: The Agriculture S&T Park is designed to provide strong S&T development for developing modern agriculture in Guangxi. However, some general issues in the development of the Park are still to be resolved, including no macro planning in the Park construction, unchecked construction, lacking governmental fund support, few fund sources, less effective S&T support in the Park construction, and operating and management mechanism of the Park unmatched with market demand. The article proposes countermeasures for expediting development of the Park: concentrating financial and science research resources on specialized areas through appropriate planning of construction projects in the Park, diversifying sources of investment, and developing modern agriculture S&T enterprises through system and mechanism innovation.
